The Top 5 Wii Games Of The Year Empty
PostSubject: The Top 5 Wii Games Of The Year   The Top 5 Wii Games Of The Year EmptyWed May 26, 2010 9:03 am

#5: De Blob
At number 5 we have De Blob which is a platformer based on the indie developed game of the same name. In this game the player stars as a small, colorful blob in a world being taken over by Nazi-esque gray blobs who are all bent on emptying the world of color forever. I think I may have met some people like that in my travels. Your objective in this game isto basically go from level to level, plopping yourself into different colors of paint and spreading color across a dull, gray city.

This can be a great family game as it supports four-player multiplayer action, and stands as a worthy example of a third-party Wii title done right.

#4: Guitar Hero World Tour
In fourth place we have Guitar Hero World Tour and this is so much more than just the fourth major installment in the Guitar Hero franchise. This is the first Wii Guitar Hero game to support downloadable content, and it showcases the best online multiplayer options for the series yet. One great feature is for players to go online for four-on-four battle of the bands matches.
You also have the game’s exclusive Mii jam session mode, offering you a simple, yet fun interactivity for up to two players.

#3: Mario Kart Wii
Where would we be without Mario Kart, which we place at number three. This is a very well-renowned game known for it’s deep combat racing gameplay. This the latest game in the series is also the first to offer you the option of motorcycles in addition to the classic karts and it's also the first console game in the series to feature online multiplayer, and has been lauded as having some of the best online gameplay that Nintendo has cooked up yet.

#2: No More Heroes
In second place we have a game from the makers of Killer7. No More Heros is an action-packed adventure geared toward mature audiences. Players take control of Travis Touchdown, a professional mercenary who got his own lightsaber over the internet.
You will find that a lot of the gameplay is very reminiscent of other sandbox-style gameplay creations, but the real meat of the game and the fun comes from the combat. Combos can be pulled off by pressing the A and B buttons, while the shaking of the Wii remote and nunchuk are used for extremely violent finishing moves.
No More Heroes is a great achievement and a must-have for those who have been waiting for the mature experience on the Wii.

#1: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
And finally at the number one position we have Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is a series that has been brought up to date and released on every console Nintendo releases and it seem that no console is complete withoutit's own version of the classic Super Smash Bros. This latest incarnation, Brawl, goes way beyond anything the series has done yet, and delivers us a multiplayer action gaming experience you will not easily forget.

In a similar fashion to other releases for the wii Brawl is the first in the series to support online play. Multiplayer will give you the reason to keep coming back to this game time after time, enjoying the game and having a whole lot of fun for a long, long while
